Notes on Sheng:

Growing up, Sheng was very shy. Too shy that she wouldn’t even sing when she knew her parents were within hearing distance. When she was 12, during a charity show organized by her school, she was asked to sing on stage. To overcome her stage fright, she asked two other girls to sing with her. When came the chorus part where she had to belt out alone, the audience went all agog and cheered her on. This did nothing to Sheng’s nerves, she ended up crying when asked for an encore.

But that was several years ago. The hard facts of life have since forced Sheng to grow up and dig up all her resources to save her family from poverty. Knowing that her voice is her most useful asset, she did not hesitate to hone and use it to move ahead.

She has blossomed into a confident young woman eager to show her talent to the world.  And if it’s the only way to free her family from poverty, she would resort to displaying her antics at any comedy bar to make people laugh.

Will we see Sheng sing and laugh until the PDA Season 2 finals?
